Olsten Staffing Is Hiring: Machine Operator I (3rd Shift)
Looking for a hands-on manufacturing opportunity? Olsten Staffing is seeking dependable and motivated Machine Operators for a growing production facility. This will be a DIRECT HIRE opportunity! If you have experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment and enjoy working with your hands, we want to hear from you!

Sunday - Thursday
7:30 PM - 6:00 AM
➕ Additional days may be required based on production needs.
Position Summary
The Machine Operator I is responsible for operating, setting up, and changing tools on computer-controlled manufacturing equipment. This role supports production quality, performs preventive maintenance activities, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.
✅ Essential Responsibilities
Operate manufacturing equipment following standard work instructions and procedures.
Set up machines by selecting the correct programs, tooling, and holding devices.
Install, align, and adjust machine tooling for production runs.
Perform first-piece inspections and verify product quality before continuing production.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production specifications.
Use measuring instruments and dimensional inspection tools to ensure quality standards are met.
Operate drills, cutters, grinders, dies, and related production equipment.
Monitor machine performance and identify quality or operational issues.
Perform Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) activities and equipment inspections.
Participate in daily toolbox meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support workplace organization and safety programs including 5S and quality processes.
Communicate machine defects, quality concerns, and production issues to leadership.
Qualifications• Required

Minimum 6 months to 1 year of manufacturing or machine operation experience
Ability to read and understand production documents and work instructions
