Summary:
Infintium Fuel Cell Systems, Inc. is developing next-generation small and medium hydrogen fuel cell systems in the Greenville, SC area. We are currently looking for an Assembly Associate who will be responsible for building the Power Cell Class I, II, and III products. As we are a small team, the candidate must be capable of setting and meeting goals reliably, with limited oversight. This role is perfect for a candidate with solid experience in manufacturing and looking to continue building on their skillset.
The company's facility is located in Greenville, SC
Responsibilities / Duties:
This role at Infintium is expected to:
โ€ข Install finished components in fuel cells independently and assist on the process of building sub-components as necessary
โ€ข Provide a good example on the basic safety standards and guidelines at the facility
โ€ข Handle power tools and heavy equipment, including but not limited to power drills, forklifts, pump trucks, and an overhead crane
โ€ข Receive fuel cell component deliveries and prepare them for use on the production line
โ€ข Wrap and secure completed fuel cells for delivery
โ€ข Complete preventative maintenance procedures and report malfunctions as needed
โ€ข Maintain a safe and clean working environment through mopping, sweeping, and garbage disposal
โ€ข Identify non-conforming components in the fuel cell and remove as needed
โ€ข Document all building actions by continually updating production signoff sheets
โ€ข Accurately log inventory parts used in fuel cell production and assist with conducting inventory counts
โ€ข Safely operate the purging station and help others with operating the station
โ€ข Complete other tasks as needed, including but not limited to prepping the workspace for the assembly process and assisting with final quality checks
Required Qualifications / Experience:
The applicant for this position must meet these requisites:
โ€ข High School degree or GED equivalent
โ€ข Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
โ€ข A minimum of 2 years worked in a heavy manufacturing or assembly environment
Desired Knowledge / Skills
In addition, the ideal applicant also would meet the following:
โ€ข Experience in either the automotive or transportation assembly sector
โ€ข Ability to function with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
โ€ข Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work on a deadline
โ€ข Excellent organization skills and the ability to develop in a collaborative team
โ€ข An eye for detail, incumbent should always be looking out for any quality defects to ensure that each component is assembled correctly and meets a certain standard

This position will be required to perform the below physical tasks:
