SUMMARY


The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for managing daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and supporting production needs. This role ensures that all warehouse activities are completed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inventory Management: Receive, put away, and maintain inventory to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Cycle Counting: Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Kitting & Production Support: Pick jobs and deliver necessary materials to production for assembly.
  • Shipping Support: Train as a backup for shipping operations, assisting as needed.
  • Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and running efficiently.
  • Quality Control: Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and report discrepancies.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Compliance & Safety: Follow all company policies and safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Part prep: Assist with preparing parts for the production floor.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and accuracy in inventory management.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems a plus.
  • Willingness to train as a backup in shipping and support cross-functional teams.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Standing position that includes frequent walking, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to push or pull up to 150 lbs.
  • Body mobility to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, grasp, and reach.
  • This position occasionally works in an industrial environment and may be exposed to dust, fumes, hazardous chemicals, and loud noises and changes in temperature.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
