Job description

Join our client’s facility in Elkridge, MD, as a Junior Electro-Mechanical Assembler supporting a global manufacturer of industrial automation systems. This temp-to-perm opportunity is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in assembly, mechanical or electrical work, or electronic repair who want to develop technical skills in a structured production environment. The role focuses on assembling mechanical and electrical components used in conveyors, control panels, and industrial automation equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on assembly of electro-mechanical components and systems following technical drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and work instructions
• Assemble mechanical structures, wiring harnesses, and electrical components using hand and power tools
• Perform basic soldering and support electronic repair tasks when required
• Assist with testing, installation, and inspection of assemblies and subassemblies
• Support troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues during production
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure accurate assembly and product quality

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with assembly, mechanical work, electrical work, electronics repair, or similar technical environment
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with common hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Location: Elkridge, Maryland
Pay Rate: $21–$25 per hour (weekly pay)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st shift
