Our client is a manufacturer of RF Technology products and is currently seeking an Electrical Housing Assembler / Junior Technician to join their growing team.

Position Details
  • Position Title: Electrical Housing Assembler / Junior Technician
  • Location: Etobicoke, ON (Brown’s Line & Horner Ave area)
  • Shift: Day Shift – Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Pay Rate: Starting at $20.00/hour
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Probation: Permanent hire after successful completion of 3-month probation period
Job Summary

The Electrical Housing Assembler / Junior Technician is responsible for assembling electronic housings and enclosures according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This role includes integrating PCBAs, wiring, connectors, and mechanical components into final assemblies while ensuring proper alignment, fitting, soldering, and functionality.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble electronic housings, enclosures, and RF technology components
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
  • Install PCBAs, wiring, connectors, and mechanical components into assemblies
  • Perform soldering and basic electrical/mechanical assembly tasks
  • Ensure proper alignment, fitting, and functionality of components
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow company safety procedures and quality standards
  • Assist with testing and troubleshooting when required
Qualifications
  • Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is considered an asset
  • Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings and instructions
  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Basic soldering skills are an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
