This mid-level position requires hands-on experience with aerospace materials, precision tools, and assembly techniques to ensure the integrity and performance of high-value aerospace systems. This role will assemble basic structural components of aircraft and spacecraft using large jigs and other related tooling to conform with assembly level manufacturing requirements.
This position will play a crucial role in the production process and contribute to the company's overall performance in Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Attitude (QCDSA).
We are a diverse team of collaborators, doers, and problem-solvers who are relentlessly committed to delivering excellence in aerospace manufacturing.

  • Lay out and/or locate components, prepare fastener holes (drill, countersink and deburr), and install fasteners in defined assembly to drawing and specification requirements.
  • Perform basic techniques within engineering requirements to achieve proper fit of details (e.g., shimming, trim on assembly), including maintaining drawing required tolerances for fastener location and related edge margins.
  • Demonstrate and apply understanding of critical features (e.g., controlled interface points, part fit and pulldown, preload) of basic aircraft structural components to ensure end item requirements are met.
  • Inspect installation of basic assembly hardware (e.g., rivets, hi-loks, bushings, grommets) to specification requirements for own installation as well as other assemblers.
  • Use complex equipment (presses, automatic riveters, etc.) as required for basic structural assemblies.
  • Provide guidance, training and inspection of work products for Bench Assemblers.
