Job description

Permanent/Direct Hire Mechanical Assembler

Location: Louisville, KY 
About the company: Manufacturers and distributes equipment for concrete finishing, site preparation, compaction, and surface preparation, serving distributors and equipment rental companies. 
Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour 
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:30am-4:00pm and occasional overtime on Friday, 5:30am-4:00pm
Job Type: Direct Hire - Permanent Placement

Job Duties as a Mechanical Assembler: 
  • Read basic drawings and instructions to build products correctly.
  • Assemble, repair, and adjust mechanical parts using hand tools and equipment.
  • Check finished products for quality and report any problems or defects.
  • Follow safety rules and keep your work area clean and organized.
  • Work as part of the production team and help with other tasks as needed.
As a Mechanical Assembler, you'll fabricate and assemble mechanical components using hand tools and equipment while following engineering specs and quality standards. 

Requirements as a Mechanical Assembler: 
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to read measuring devices, including tape measures. 
  • Basic math skills with the ability to calculate measurements accurately. 
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. 
  • Able to stand 3-10 hours per day, as needed. 
  • Able to lift up to 75lbs., as needed.
