Job description

Join our team and discover why we are a top veteran employer and Certified Great Place to Work™ ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics (AFFL), a division of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Site Manager for upcoming work that is expected to be awarded and support to Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex, Warner Robins, Georgia (WR-ALC) by ASRC Federal for the Air Force Industrial Product-Support Vendor (IPV) Contract managed by DLA. The position involves daily interface with WR-ALC and DLA Weapons Support Warner Robins representatives to ensure the smooth flow of bench stock parts to the production lines. • The individual shall be responsible for ensuring the completion of all site technical operational requirements required by the contract as assigned by the Program Management Office. • Customer satisfaction and the accomplishment of all parts availability metrics are the primary functional requirements of the local site team. • The individual will develop and manage staffing requirements, implementation plans, Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), and training schedules to satisfy the terms of the contract as assigned by the program manager. • The individual will produce or provide input to all required reports submitted to the Government. • The individual shall meet with and brief AF, DLA and ASRC Federal officials as required on the status of site operations support to the WR-ALC. • Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Management Office. The Site Manager directs the efforts of a team of ASRC Federal and subcontractor employees who perform the following functions: • Timely processing of orders, follow-ups, receipt of material, and movement of material from central receiving point or warehouse to WR-ALC bench stock locations. • Review and recommend WR-ALC bins for additions and deletions of stock numbers to the master schedule of items (SOI) list. • Oversee placement of bench stock in bins or in designated delivery point(s) supporting the WR-ALC. • Oversees adjustment to bin levels to maximizes customer fulfillment and prevent production line stoppages, along with order analysis to resolve problem items. • Work with DLA representative and ASRC Federal Procurement to expedite material for WR-ALC as required. • Manage spot buys for critical items through coordination with the ASRC Federal Procurement team. • Direct and implement set-up of new bench stock locations for WR-ALC. • Manage/oversee Kit build operations. Knowledge/Skills Required: • The individual must have a thorough understanding of Supply Chain Management methodology along with working knowledge of the U.S Defense MILSTRIP process, DoD Bench Stock management, and associated Inventory/Supply Chain Management systems. • Knowledge of DOD procedures required for the expediting of high priority requisitions, processing of receipts and returns, and submission of SDRs and PQDRs. • Detailed understanding of demand analysis and how it impacts inventory investments and production schedules. • Detailed understanding and use of Material Handling Equipment. • Individual should be familiar with OSHA requirements, Warehouse Safety, and have experience managing training plans. Knowledge/Skills Desired: • Thorough working knowledge of DoD systems such as FEDMALL and WEBVLIPS to include query capability, demand analysis, and status checks on open orders to both government and commercial sources of supply. Familiar with Haystack and other supply chain information systems. • Autocrib and WMS stock management systems and processes. Required Experience/Certs: • Eight or more years' experience working in the Logistics or Supply Chain field, three of which must have been in a Team Lead or Management role. • Direct experience working on projects with or for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) or any Department of Defense Agency/Repair Depot. • Managing teams to complete actions item lists in a teamwork environment. • Comfortable briefing senior leadership in these organizations. • Ability to obtain a government CAC and a Secret Level Security Clearance. Associate's Degree or Supply Chain Management Certification preferred but not required.
