Job Description:
Microchip is looking for a dynamic Senior Client Engagement Manager (CEM) to help drive sales growth, within a select group of major Storage, Data Center, and Communications OEMs, located in San Jose, CA.
Responsibilities include:
  • Utilize the Microchip Sales Processes to create new engagements and drive the sales funnel to grow revenue at select target customers.
  • Provide technical and business insight at every level of the customer engagement.
  • The CEM owns and drives the company relationship with the assigned customer base.
  • The CEM must effectively work within a team environment, to successfully develop and implement sales strategies
  • Communicate effectively with Microchip Product divisions
  • The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, and aspire to provide the customer with the highest level of support
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of their customer's products, the solutions we offer that create value to the customer, the overall market, competitive landscape and internal organization
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals

Qualifications
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or commensurate years of experience supporting semiconductor sales, technical degree preferred
  • 9+ years of experience supporting datacenter or marketing experience preferred (networking, server and storage hardware or datacenter)
  • Prior experience managing and building partnerships at large accounts
  • Able to work proficiently in both autonomous and team environments
  • Systems proficiency - CRM, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint..
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in California, is $88,000 - $232,000.*
*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
