Company Overview
We are a growing paving and construction contractor specializing in commercial, industrial, and public works projects. We perform a mix of parking lots, street and highway work, and asphalt patch/repair projects. We are looking for a reliable Asphalt Roller Operator who takes pride in quality compaction and working as part of a crew.

Position Summary
The Asphalt Roller Operator is responsible for operating breakdown and finish rollers on asphalt paving and patch projects, while assisting the paving crew with general labor tasks when not on the machine. This is a full‐time, field position with consistent work for the right operator.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate asphalt rollers safely and efficiently on commercial, industrial, and street/highway projects.
  • Perform proper compaction techniques to meet project density, smoothness, and quality requirements.
  • Assist paving crew with raking, shoveling, lute work, and general labor when not operating equipment.
  • Conduct pre‐trip and post‐trip inspections of the roller and report any mechanical issues.
  • Follow all company safety policies, traffic control requirements, and jobsite instructions.
  • Work closely with foremen and crew members to maintain production and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of recent experience operating asphalt rollers in paving applications.
  • Experience on commercial, industrial, and/or street/highway paving projects.
  • Ability and willingness to work with the crew performing labor tasks when not on the roller.
  • Strong understanding of compaction, mat quality, and joint construction.
