Ready to run your own projects instead of just executing someone else's plan? TWE - one of the largest private and minority-owned geotechnical firms on the Gulf Coast - is looking for a CMT Project Manager in Beaumont with hands-on soils, concrete, or asphalt testing experience to take real ownership of client relationships, technician teams, and project outcomes. With 430+ engineers, scientists, geologists, and technicians across Texas and Louisiana, we've got the resources of a large firm with the fast decision-making of a close-knit team. You'll be the face of TWE on your projects - maintain safety and quality excellence, keep technicians sharp, and quality airtight.
What You'll Own
  • Client relationships - you're TWE's primary point of contact, building trust through consistent, high-quality service
  • Proposals & project setup - draft proposals, secure project numbers, and get every job started right
  • Team coordination - assign and train technicians, working directly with dispatch to keep projects staffed
  • Quality control - review, sign, and distribute reports; keep billing and invoicing on track
  • Business growth - spot opportunities to expand client relationships and bring in new work
  • Safety leadership - help set the standard for a safe jobsite and office environment
What You Bring
  • HS diploma + 7 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree + 1 year of experience
  • 2+ years of CMT (Construction Materials Testing) experience - soils, concrete, and/or asphalt testing and inspection preferred
  • ACI, NICET, and/or TxDOT certifications preferred (Concrete Field Testing, Soils, Aggregate, or related disciplines)
  • Solid computer skills (MS Office and standard testing/data programs)
  • Strong verbal/written communication and comfort with numbers
  • Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean record
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and sit for extended desk work
  • Clean background check
