Job description

We are seeking dependable, hard-working Asphalt Laborers and Experienced Rakers to join our paving crew. Full-time work with competitive pay based on experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Laborers: Shovel, tamp, sweep, manage rake support, assist with general site prep, cleanup, and loading/unloading equipment/tools.
  • Rakers: Expertly handle, distribute, and lute hot mix asphalt to proper grade, depth, and slope, ensuring smooth joints and flawless transitions behind the paver.

Requirements:

  • Previous asphalt, paving, or road construction experience required for rakers.
  • No experience necessary for laborers, but preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance
  • Ability to work long hours in outdoor heat and perform heavy physical labor
  • Team-first attitude with a focus on quality and safety

Schedule & Pay

  • Hours: Avg. 60 hours/week. Clock in and clock out at office/shop everyday.
  • Schedule: Monday – Saturday. 7AM start time everyday (occasional 6AM start if job site is far)
  • Pay: $25 –$30/ hour (Depending on Experience) — Paid Weekly
  • Job Type: Full-time / Seasonal
