Job description

Commercial Sitework Division Manager Location: Raleigh-Durham region, NC Pay (based on experience): $170,000.00 - $225,000.00

Job Overview Responsibilities:

  • Manage the commercial division of sitework projects across the Carolinas for grading and utilities, overseeing projects with a combined value of over $400M in NC.
  • Lead, plan, and grow the commercial site preparation business throughout NC to secure private site work packages for turnkey heavy civil scopes including grading, paving, excavation, demolition, and utility installations.
  • Oversee self-performing subcontractors and coordinate with project partners, internal leadership, and customers to ensure project success.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, exceeding expectations to foster repeat business and grow account opportunities.
  • Provide expertise in water/sewer/storm pipe installations and underground structures such as stormwater detention centers and junction boxes.
  • Utilize project management and estimating software including HCSS HeavyJob, HCSS HeavyBid, ProCore, Bid2Win (B2W), Primavera, and others to support project execution and bidding processes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience at a subcontractor in NC focusing on self-performing grade, pipe, and asphalt on turnkey heavy civil sitework projects.
  • Proficiency with project management and estimating software such as HCSS HeavyJob, HCSS HeavyBid, ProCore, Bid2Win (B2W), Primavera.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with project partners, internal teams (100-200 personnel), owners, and customers.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing large teams and complex projects.
  • Knowledge of water/sewer/storm pipe installations, underground structures, and large diameter pipe work.
  • Relevant organizational development, subcontractor, or executive experience preferred.
