Job description

Registered Nurse Acute Care - BSN / ASN
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care Floor team at a respected hospital located south of Lafayette, LA. In this role, you will provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting, overseeing the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients with diverse conditions.
Pay: $61,331 - $82,338
Schedule: Days or Nights
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, including patient history and physical exams, to determine healthcare needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, tailored to each patient's medical condition, treatment goals, and ensure accurate medication administration.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers to create and execute effective care strategies.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary, and advocate for patient well-being at all stages of treatment.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN/ASN) required
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Louisiana
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
  • Acute Care experience is preferred
