Job description

What You'llย Beย Doing:ย 

  • New Product Developmentย 
    • Project managing all new product development alongside our designersย 
    • Manage and execute product development plans, ensuring timely deliveryย 
    • Maintain accurate Airtable, Excel, and Google sheets regarding product status, photos, and issues.ย 
    • Coordinate sampling, organize priorities, and oversee testing, content creation, and photographyย 
    • Facilitate communication between US and Asian sourcing teamsย 
    • Prepare and lead weekly Brand + Sales check-in meetingsย 
    • Conduct product training for internal teamsย 
  • Product Improvementย 
    • Manage product improvements from initiation through implementationย 
    • Maintain an organized database of costs and product enhancementsย 
    • Coordinate update of product information, instruction manuals, and photography in Salsify and other systemsย 
    • Monitor and ensure implementation of product changesย 
  • Process Optimizationย 
    • Implement and streamline processes to increase efficiencyย 
    • Manage special projects to support team objectivesย

  • Excellent project management and organizational skillsย 
  • You can seek out the stakeholders of a new project, work with them to identify the risks, create a project plan and schedule, lead a project kick-off meeting, hold people accountable with regular check-ins, communicate regular status updates to stakeholders, complete the project and celebrate the team's win. ย 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilitiesย 
  • Ability to assess impact vs. effort and prioritize accordinglyย 
  • You are comfortable managing up, whether that's following up with the CEO about a cost approval or giving constructive feedback to managers about processes that can be improved.ย 
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPointย 
  • Fluent in speaking and reading Chineseย 
  • Ability to leverage AI tools to optimize workflows and improve operational efficiencyย
