Job description

The International Private Bank Platform Business Management Team is part of JPMorgan Private Bank within the Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) line of business, serving ultra and high net worth team members globally. Our goal is to help these affluent clients optimize their wealth, after taxes and across generations. We partner with the Latin America Private Bank Leadership Team and support the Global Families Group, which covers Private Bank clients in Europe, Asia and Canada from the US. Acting as a trusted advisor and COO to regional and market leadership, we execute business priorities in coordination with functional partners (e.g. Products/Solutions, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Operations, Client Service, Program Management, Controls, Audit) across the organization. The business management team is involved in all facets of the business, including business/product development, sales management, performance reporting, data management and issue/risk management.

As the Finance and Business Manager-Associate you will represent the business in global program rollouts, promote process and control enhancements, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures. You will collaborate closely with front-office, control, and support partners to understand business priorities and deliver best-in-class execution for the region. In this role, you will lead and support initiatives that simplify, improve, and add value to end-to-end business processes in line with strategic goals. You will partner with key functional areas-including Controls, Client Service, Operations, Finance, Supervisory Management, Risk, Compliance, and Legal-to design and implement change initiatives and process improvements. You will maintain a strong control environment by monitoring and testing key activities, identifying and remediating root causes of recurring issues, and promoting the resolution of key business risks. You will support audits, regulatory and compliance reviews, and related deliverables, helping to define and track action plans. You will manage projects and workstreams, responding to executive ad-hoc requests for project management, analysis, and presentations. You will organize complex information into clear, strategic management materials, reports, and dashboards, leveraging advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. You will prepare content for senior leadership meetings, business management forums, and front-office training sessions. You will also maintain internal documentation and collaboration sites (e.g., SharePoint) to ensure information is current, accessible, and well-governed.

Job responsibilities

  • Understand the International Private Bank's business priorities and participate in collaborative initiatives to simplify, improve, and add value to business processes in support of business goals and objectives.

  • Partner with business-aligned functional areas (Controls, Client Service, Client Operations, Finance, Supervisory Management, Risk, Compliance, Legal) to drive process improvements and change initiatives impacting the region.
  • Ensure business adherence to policies and procedures through monitoring and testing.
  • Engage with the front-office, support, and control functions to understand root causes of recurring issues, coordinate remediations, and optimize processes and controls.
  • Identify key business risks on the platform and drive resolution of mitigating controls.
  • Maintain a strong control environment; support audit, regulatory, and compliance reviews and deliverables, helping drive specific action plans.
  • Project manage effectively; respond promptly to executive ad-hoc requests for project management, presentations, and business analysis, managing key workstream deliverables and tasks within larger projects.
  • Organize complex information in a strategic and compelling way; create effective management presentations, reports, and dashboards, demonstrating strong design skills and expertise in Excel and PowerPoint techniques.
  • Prepare meeting materials for business management, senior leadership, and front-office training sessions.
  • Communicate effectively with key business partners to understand projects and drive next steps.
  • Maintain internal resources and documentation on collaboration sites (e.g., SharePoint).


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 2+ years of relevant experience

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint) 
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and project management abilities
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Tenacity to resolve issues and conflicts with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to multitask and organize work to meet deadlines across multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and able to work with a high degree of independence
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Proven track record of delivering timely, high-quality presentations
  • Attention to detail and focus on design excellence 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills 

  • Educational background in Business, Finance or Economics major or equivalent experience in wealth management/financial services

  • Prior experience in Business Management, Project Management or COO role 

  • Automation skills (Python, Alteryx, Prompt Engineering, etc)
