We are seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to support the preparation of sterile medications in a cleanroom environment. This role is responsible for compounding sterile products, maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations and quality standards, and ensuring accurate documentation throughout the process.

• Prepare sterile medications, including IVs, injections, and ophthalmic products, following approved formulations and SOPs.
• Perform aseptic compounding techniques in ISO-classified cleanrooms.
• Accurately document compounding activities, lot numbers, and quality checks.
• Maintain cleanroom cleanliness and complete routine cleaning and disinfection.
• Assist with equipment setup, maintenance, and environmental monitoring activities.
• Follow all gowning, safety, and contamination-control procedures.
• Report deviations, errors, or quality concerns promptly.
• Support inventory management and collaborate with pharmacists and team members to ensure timely order fulfillment.

• Pharmacy Technician training or experience preferred.
• Sterile compounding and aseptic technique experience preferred.
• IV compounding experience is a plus.
• Hospital or 503A compounding pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment.

Entry Level

Training is available for motivated candidates interested in building a career in sterile compounding and pharmacy operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, TN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
