Job description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $16.49hr - $21.49hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Ability to follow established protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Experience or willingness to work in laboratory, field, or greenhouse settings.
  • Ability to support regulatory science research programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of tasks in laboratory, field, or greenhouse settings under supervisor guidance.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of samples and data.
  • Assist with day-to-day sample processing operations including sample receipt, lyophilization, grinding, weighing, distribution, inventory, and retention.
  • Manage seed lot inventory and preparation for characterization and distribution activities.
  • Perform seed receipt, inventory, sub-sampling, cleaning, treating, packet printing, filling, scanning, devitalizing, grinding, shipping, sample retention, and discard.
  • Support team needs including greenhouse and field data and sample collection.
