Description:
The Aseptic Cleaner will be responsible for daily, weekly and overnight sanitization of the clean room manufacturing areas. The position will also ensure that the detail, scheduling, and methods of cleaning are in compliance with regulations for maintaining the sterility of the clean rooms.
Essential functions:

  • Maintains a aseptic environment in the cleanroom, by gowning, cleaning the room, and behaving according to clean room procedures that align with CGMP practices or guidelines
  • Provide an accurate record of daily and weekly cleaning activities according to the Standard ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Perform the daily, weekly and monthly sanitization/cleaning of clean rooms and equipments.
  • Remove trash from the production areas to the waste disposal in a prompt and sanitary manner.
  • Maintain general housekeeping of working area and plant.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and storage areas.
  • Follows the โ€œdone-by checked-byโ€ process to oversee the techniques and practices of co-workers, measurements, gowning, sterile techniques, and documentation.
  • Takes inventory in the clean room to identify components, sterile gloves, IPA, masks, etcโ€ฆneeded for operators.
  • Clock in and out for every scheduled shift in a timely manner.
  • Accurately testing the cleaning chemicals according to the Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Performs other duties in order to meet production schedule or to comply with cGMPs.
  • Works as a member of a team to achieve all outcomes.
  • Performs all work in support of our Values: Collaboration, Courage, Perseverance, and Passion. All other relevant duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
โ€ข High School Diploma or equivalent.
โ€ข Experience in a aseptic environment preferred.
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
โ€ข Must have strong discipline and following of Standard Operating Procedures repeatedly.
โ€ข Must be able to learn gowning procedures and wear sterile Personal Protective Equipment, to ย ย ย ย include a respirator each day while cleaning.
โ€ข Physically capable of being on feet for 3 hours doing physical labor of cleaning the Clean Room
โ€ข Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill production and cleaning tasks.

โ€ข Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
