This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while making a significant impact on clients’ lives. As part of a community health clinic, your work will be pivotal in addressing the increasing need for accessible mental health services. You will engage with clients through telehealth platforms, leveraging technology to maintain the warmth and effectiveness of in-person therapy.

• Execute comprehensive clinical assessments to understand and evaluate the mental health needs of clients.
• Formulate and implement evidence-based treatment plans that are tailored to meet the specific goals of each client, adjusting strategies as necessary based on progress.
• Conduct individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, utilizing appropriate therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness approaches.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team including psychiatrists, social workers, and other counselors, ensuring holistic and comprehensive care for each client.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, following best practices for documentation.
• Participate actively in clinical supervision, case conferences, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Your work will primarily involve supporting individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mood or anxiety disorders. You’ll specifically address the needs of diverse populations, providing culturally competent care that acknowledges and respects each client's unique background and circumstances.

• A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field; a Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a closely related discipline is preferred.
• A proven history of facilitating individual and group therapy in mental health settings.
• Proficiency in applying evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster rapport with clients from various backgrounds and experiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for clear documentation and effective client interactions.
• A commitment to ethical practices and the protection of client confidentiality.

While a Bachelor’s degree is required, candidates with a Master’s degree and relevant clinical experience will be strongly favored. Experience working with specific populations, such as adolescents, veterans, or those struggling with addiction, will enhance the candidate's profile. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapeutic interventions is also preferred.
