Schedule:  Nights | Full Time | 6 p.m - 6:30 a.m.

How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Formulate, execute, and evaluate individualized respiratory care protocols.
  • Manage and oversee the application of advanced respiratory modalities and specialized equipment.
  • Document, record, and communicate patient status, assessing treatment efficacy relative to established outcomes.
  • Provide comprehensive patient and family education regarding conditions and facilitate referrals to external community resources.
  • Participate in the emergency resuscitation team and respond to critical code notifications.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Indiana Respiratory Care Committee obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking
  • 3 years of adult critical care experience is preferred
  • RRT preferred
