Join our team of Registered Nurses at a brand-new, state-of-the-art medical facility, where you'll help shape the future of exceptional patient care in our Ambulatory Surgery Center. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a founding nursing team, build a supportive culture from the ground up, and make a lasting impact in a modern environment designed for both patients and staff.
  • Location: Leland Outpatient Surgery Center - 9151 Ocean Highway East Leland, North Carolina 28451
  • Schedule: Part-Time, 6:30am-2:30pm
  • Department: ASC- Pre/Post
  • Requirements: Minimum 1 year PACU experience

What You'll Do
  • Evaluating patients as they come in
  • Administer pre-op medication
  • Perioperative teaching then post op recoveries
  • Advocate for patients and ensure a smooth pre/post experience.

What We're Looking For
Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
Experience: One year of ASC, PACU or operating room experience, preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. ACLS and PALS, preferred.
Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Must have a thorough understanding of role of RN and the ability to carry out the functions as stated in the appropriate relevant state nurse practice act. Ability to set priorities and organize workload of unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient's age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Proficient in telephone screening and interviewing skills.
