Job description

Salary:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise an asbestos abatement crew on commercial, industrial, military and government projects.
  • Coordinate daily job site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Train and mentor crew members on proper abatement procedures, safety practices, and company standards.
  • Perform asbestos and lead abatement work, including removal, containment, and proper disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Set up and oversee containment areas using plastic sheeting, negative air machines, and decontamination units.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company safety regulations related to hazardous materials handling.
  • Wear, inspect, and enforce the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and respirators on all job sites.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environments within containment zones and surrounding areas.
    Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, clients, and crew members throughout each project.
  • Complete daily reports, safety documentation, time sheets, and compliance paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Travel to various job sites across the Salisbury, MD/DE area as assigned.
  • Support other company operations as needed. Versatility and willingness to assist in multiple areas of the business are essential in our team-oriented environment.


Preferred Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications:

  • Must be able to pass an extensive background check to gain DBIDS for military base access.
  • Must have the Real ID.
  • Ability to commute to job sites as assigned.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures in construction and abatement environments
  • Dependable, punctual, and adaptable to changing project needs
  • Willingness to perform hands-on labor alongside crew members when necessary


Licenses:

  • MD Asbestos License or Certification preferred


Schedule:

  • MondayFriday | 7:00 AM 3:30 PM


Compensation:

  • Hourly range starts at $28-$33hr+ or more depending on experience plus OT at 1.5x.
