Why We Need Your Talents:

Prepares and completes payroll in a timely and accurate manner, includes but is not limited to the preparation of tax payments as well as other miscellaneous reports for distribution and/or payment purposes.


Where You'll Make an Impact:

  • Processing of payroll information from Kronos time and attendance system.
  • Balancing data entry to system totals.
  • Printing checks.
  • Checking team member changes.
  • Entering team member deductions.
  • Payment processing for team member deductions and 941 taxes and 401K.
  • Protects the confidentiality of team information.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills to Help You Succeed:

  • Capable of operating basic office equipment inclusive of but not limited to Personal Computer Microsoft Office Products and AS400, and printer. Must be able to learn and adapt to use of the Kronos time and attendance system.
  • Ability to write business letters, memos and basic instructions.
  • Ability to read complex documents and understand state and local tax withholding laws, and garnishment laws.
  • Ability to operate a telephone, voice mail system, facsimile machine, photocopier, and 10 key calculator.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.

Must-Haves:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in payroll accounting required.
  • Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.

Physical Requirements

  • The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts, including late nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work extended hours across all shifts in a 24/7 work environment.
  • Ability to be exposed to alcohol, smoke, bright lights, and noise.
  • Ability to walk up and down 31 stairs to the Casino floor.
