ABOC is hiring a Computer Operator. This position is responsible for accurately and efficiently performing transaction capture, data entry, data validation, computer equipment and communication.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Transmits customer and Bank files for processing.
  • Monitor various components including print back system and network backup jobs.
  • Perform e-statement system processing.
  • Complete batch processing for the Trust and Pension systems.
  • Generate and distribute departmental reports.
  • Maintains appropriate records, logs and documentation of departmental activity for reporting and audit services.
  • Process check capture, reject/re-entry and other balancing functions.
  • Conducts preventive and routine maintenance tasks on hardware and makes minor repairs in case of equipment malfunctions.
  • Report major problems relating to hardware and/or software to management and/or designated vendor representative for prompt resolution.
  • Flexibility to work evening hours required and potentially additional hours during critical processing periods.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Microsoft 365 Experience
  • Knowledge of computer operations practices and procedures as is normally attained in three years of experience in a computer operations environment.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
