ย This position supports Art Heals Arizona expansion programming by coordinating and executing key Art Heals Arizona programs such as Art Heals Days, the Weekly Mentor Program, Professional Artist Series, Camp Series, and others. This position also supports volunteer outreach, orientation, training, engagement, and retention activities for program capacity building and expansion efforts. ย

Salary: $46,000 annual salary

Location: ย Phoenix & Surrounding Areas, up to 40% travel within and between ย Maricopa and Pima Counties ย

  • Develops and uses systems to organize and keep track of information and work progress.ย 
  • Works effectively within established timeframes and priorities.ย

  • Monitors implementation of plans and makes adjustments as needed.ย 
  • Collaborates with community partners and artists, designs art projects.ย 
  • Plans and executes events and programs.ย

Requirements

  • Ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of practical work experience in a business setting.ย 
  • Knowledge and experience using Windows, Microsoft Applications.ย 
  • Must be able to have access to and provide reliable transportation for self. An AZ driver's license and proof of insurance is required for qualifying mileage reimbursements.ย 
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a Fingerprint Clearance Card to be present around the children we serve.ย 
  • This person frequently interacts with volunteers and constituents about the mission and vision of Art Heals Arizona. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.ย 

Preferred Qualificationsย ย 

The following qualities and experience in addition to the years of experience are highly desirable:ย ย 

  • Ability to read and write in Spanish.ย 
  • High proficiency and experience with Windows, Microsoft Applications, and CRM software (Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack or similar nonprofit CRM)ย ย 

Physical Requirementsย 

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 60% of the time using a computer.ย 
  • Must be able to identify and assess written materials including fine print.ย 
  • Must be able to position self to maintain files, supplies, document boxes, and other materials up to 50 pounds as needed.ย 

Environmental Requirementsย 

  • Must be able to regularly work in a well-lit, temperature-controlled work area.ย 
  • Must be able to work a mix weekday and weekends if needed.ย 
  • Must be able to work in an open area with other employees and volunteers 80% of the time.ย
