  • Patient Volume: 86k annual ED volume
  • EMR: Epic
  • Moonlighting: No moonlighting residents


Qualifications

  • Education: ABEM, ABFM and ABIM with EM experience
  • Licensure: TX
  • Board Certification: Required
  • Experience: Will take new grad ABEM clinicians, ABFM and ABIM must have 2 years of EM experience

The department delivers rapid, compassionate assessment and treatment for adults and children with access to on-site labs and imaging, streamlined check-in processes, and direct connection to inpatient and specialty services within the CHRISTUS Health network. As part of a facility that includes a designated trauma center with surgeons and support services available around the clock, the emergency team is equipped to manage a broad spectrum of urgent and critical conditions while ensuring seamless continuity of care with follow-up and specialty referrals.
