Job description

We are seeking Sub-Artists to join our electric team! With the ability to promote to shift lead/manager. You will be responsible for making the best subs in Chatham County! We are growing fast within the surrounding area of Pittsboro. Customer service is a key part of our business as we continue to expand and grow, and we want every guest that comes into our store to have a wonderful and memorable experience. Our franchise is consistently opening new stores as we continue to hire, train, and promote employees into leadership roles.

Greetings my name is David Blosser the general manager of the location in Pittsboro. As a Jersey Mike's team member, I started off as a sub-artist at our grand opening in November of 2021. Within a few short months, I was promoted to assistant general manager. Pushing myself to learn more and exceed expectations of the tasks I was responsible for; I was grateful to fill the void and become general manager at this location after another few months. The value of your hard work and intuitiveness will not go unnoticed!

Starting Pay $10 per hour for all 18+. Cash tips are taken home at the end of the day and credit card tips are added to the paycheck.

Average credit card tips $3-4 per hour

60+ hours worked over the pay period adds a 100 medical stipend!

Pay schedule every 2 weeks with payday on Wednesday

Responsibilities for all employees:

  • Making the absolute best subs in Chatham County includes slicing, sprinkling, wrapping, registering, and grilling.

  • Daily cleaning, organization, and restocking

  • Prepping food products

  • Deliver exceptional customer service

Shift Leads/ Managers:

  • Ability to operate all sub-making stations effectively in order to lead the team thru rushes

  • High-quality understanding of food costs and production reports to ensure proper prep amounts, and assist with truck orders

  • Practice exemplary money-handling techniques

  • Mental fortitude and emotional maturity in order to handle customer and/or employee-related issues

  • Marketing of the store to encourage more sales
