Job Summary:
Our Sandwich Artist will be responsible for greeting and serving guests, preparing product, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and processing light paperwork. Exceptional guest service is a major component of this position.

Job Description:
  • Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains them to guests accurately.
  • Uses Point of Sale system/cash register to record the order and compute the amount of the bill.
  • Collects payment from guests and makes change. Performs Cash-In Procedure- accounting for all forms of money, bread, etc., during the shift.
  • Prepares food neatly, according to formula, and in a timely manner.
  • Checks products in sandwich unit area and restocks items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift.
  • Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up. Cleans and maintains all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image.
  • Performs light paperwork duties as assigned.
  • Understands and adheres to the Wash, Rinse, and Sanitize method of cleaning. Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as outlined in the Subway® Operations Manual: Daily Procedures.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the Subway® Operations Manual:

  • Completes University of Subway® courses as directed.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulations.
  • Follow food safety best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Additional Job Description:
  • Must be available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, weekends and or holidays.
  • Must be able to perform the following physical behaviors repetitively throughout a shift: standing, walking, handling, reaching horizontally, grasping firmly, reaching above the shoulder, reaching below the waist, pushing buttons, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed.
  • Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
  • Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.

Pay Range:
$15.43 - $18.64
The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
