Job description

Providence Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and passionate Adolescent Medicine physician to join our multi-disciplinary team in Spokane, Washington. This full-time position offers a diverse range of responsibilities, from comprehensive outpatient care to limited inpatient services, with a focus on improving adolescent health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive adolescent care, including management of eating disorders, gynecology, nutrition and exercise counseling, STD testing and treatment, substance abuse assessment and referral, parent/child conflict counseling, and more.
  • Primarily based in an outpatient clinic environment with some inpatient responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with a team of pediatric specialists and other healthcare professionals in a dedicated Childrens Hospital setting.
  • Teaching opportunities with residents and medical students from three local medical schools: University of Washington, Washington State University, and Spokane Teaching Health Center.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified/Board-eligible in Adolescent Medicine.
  • Strong interest and commitment to adolescent health and comprehensive care
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Teaching experience or interest in working with medical residents is preferred
