DESCRIPTION:
-Design and teach dance master classes aligned with course objectives, CTE outcomes, and NJ VPA standards
-Deliver age-appropriate, skill-level appropriate instruction in technique, style, or repertory
-Introduce students to current industry practices, trends, and career pathways in dance
-Model professional behavior, rehearsal etiquette, and workplace expectations
-Provide constructive, actionable feedback to support student growth and artistic development
-Adapt instruction in real time based on student ability, engagement, and learning needs
-Lead structured warm-ups and cool-downs that promote injury prevention and safe dance practices
-Communicate clearly with the supervising dance educator regarding lesson goals and pacing
-Incorporate discussion of the guest artist's professional journey, training, and career experiences
-Foster an inclusive, respectful, and supportive learning environment
-Follow school policies related to student safety, supervision, and conduct
-Manage class time effectively to meet instructional goals within the scheduled master class period
