Job Description:

Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking an Artificial Lift Specialist reporting to the Production Foreman in San Angelo, Texas. This position will be responsible for analyzing and improving operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, and maximize production output. The ideal candidate will have strong technical as well as communication skills and be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

General Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze data related to production to identify inefficiencies and areas of improvement.

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational workflows, enhance productivity, and reduce operational cost.

  • Continuously monitor key performance indicators and operational metrics to track the effectiveness of optimization initiatives.

  • Prepare and present detailed reports on optimization efforts, including analysis, findings, and recommendations to the production team.

  • Work closely with cross functional teams, including Production Foreman, Lease Operators, and engineers to develop and execute optimization plans.

  • Ensure all optimization activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.

  • Ad hoc projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry, with a focus on operations optimization.

  • Proficient in Cygnet/SCADA when it comes to analyzing well data to optimize production.

  • Familiarity with production operations, including optimization techniques in the industry.

  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various well sites and facilities as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field

  • Previous experience with shooting fluid levels on wells, conducting tubing integrity test, and other surface test in relation to downhole issues

  • Previous experience overseeing slickline jobs
