Theย Senior AI/Data Subject Matterย Expertprovidesย classified AI and data integration support across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and AFSCI environments. This position is essential toย maintainingย continuous classified operations support for HQ ACC/A2 and ISR Wing mission sets.ย Candidatesย will work on-site at Joint Base Langley-Eustis as part of a two-person cleared team ensuring uninterrupted classified environment coverage while developing and deploying AI/RPA solutions that directlyย impactย intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance operations.ย
This is not a remote position. This is not a periodic advisory role.ย Candidatesย will be embedded daily with ACC directorates, working in classified spaces, solvingย real operationalย challenges with AI and automation technologies.ย
Essential Job Functions:
Classified Coordination & Advisory:
- Provide technical advisory services on AI and RPA integration within SIPRNet and AFSCI environmentsย
- Coordinate with HQ ACC/A2 leadership on classified AI capability development and deployment strategiesย
- Advise on security compliance, data governance, and technical feasibility for classified AI applicationsย
- Participate in classified technical exchanges, working groups, and planning forumsย
Classified Solution Development:
- Lead AI and RPA workflow discovery sessions with ISR Wing personnel in classified environmentsย
- Design, prototype, and deploy AI/ML solutions addressing intelligence analysis, data fusion, and mission planning workflowsย
- Develop automation solutions using enterprise-approved platforms within classified networksย
- Conduct iterative user validation cycles with operational intelligence personnelย
- Transitionย validatedย solutions into operational use with complete technical documentationย
Tier 2 Classified Platform Support:
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for AI tools and platformsย operatingย on SIPRNet and AFSCI networksย
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues requiring classified environment accessย
- Coordinate with platform vendors on behalf of classified usersย
- Resolve escalated support requests from ISR Wings and HQ staffย
Continuous Classified Presence:
- Maintain on-site presence at JBLE during normal duty hours as part of theย minimumย two-cleared-personnel requirementย
- Enable seamless coverage for HQ ACC/A2 and ISR Wing support without operational gapsย
- Coordinate with the second Senior AI/Data SME to ensure continuous classified environment availabilityย

- Core Hours:0800-1700 EST, Monday-Friday), with occasional extended hours to meet mission deadlines or support operational eventsย
Flexibility:
- Occasional early morning or evening meetings to accommodate wing schedules across time zonesย
Surge Periods:
- Increased hours during major milestones, events, or exercises (with advance notice)ย
On-Call:
- Notย required, but responsiveness to urgent issues expected (email/phone within 4 hours during duty hours)ย
Telework:ย
- No telework eligibility for unclassified administrative tasks; all classified work must be performed on-site in approved facilities
Security Environment:
- Work with classified information up to Top Secret/SCI level
- Compliance with OPSEC, CUI handling, and classification protocols
- Subject to security inspections, audits, and continuous evaluation
- Adherence to base access, badge, and facility security requirements
