Job Description

Application Data Coordinator Rad Oncs for Warrenville, IL location. Lead data collection from various applications
and provide direction in data management efforts to analyze data to help guide multiple programs, optimize clinical workflows and improve patient and program outcomes. Designs and supports the business and clinical processes within the departments of Radiation Oncology, including the operational environments of assigned customers. Advocates for the effective use of information systems to improve patient care. Maintains and sets the guidelines of solid technical competence for assigned customer systems. Design, develop and execute customer-based data queries for research projects for clinical use, publication, grant writing and funding reports. Serve as site administrator for participant data base. Conduct monthly data audits and create, develop and disseminate statistical participant data reports. Create and provide monthly utilization metrics for all programs. Identify program trends. Assist in the development and execution of process and quality improvement initiatives. Train all staff in the use of the Efforts to Outcome (ETO) software. Optimize user workflows, manage user roles, configure database fields. Serve as subject matter expert in various applications. Tech environment: MOSAIQ; SQL Server; writing complex SQL queries; data manipulation and analysis w/pivot tables; Constant Contact; SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence report writing; PowerPoint.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science or related field plus 5 years of
    progressive experience as a Data Analyst or similar position required. Required skills: 5 years exp in each: data base
    system design and management; writing complex SQL queries; SQL Server; data manipulation and analysis w/pivot
    tables. 1 year: SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence report writing; ETO/Case management software administrator.
    Exp must include: providing healthcare data for research projects for publication, grant writing and funding reports.
    Background check and drug test required. Some telecommuting permitted.
