What is art banking?

Art banking refers to a specialized financial service where banks or financial institutions assist clients in purchasing, managing, investing in, and leveraging art as a financial asset. Services may include art advisory, valuation, storage, insurance, and using art as collateral for loans. Art banking is popular among high-net-worth individuals looking to diversify their investment portfolios and preserve wealth through art. These services require expertise in both finance and the art market to guide clients in making informed decisions.

These competencies are essential for ensuring accurate art asset management, risk mitigation, and delivering tailored financial solutions to clients in the art market.
