Job description

The Cleveland Museum of Art has a 2nd shift position available for a Facility Technician.  The Facility Technicians provide routine and advanced operating and maintenance support to all building mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, automation, lighting, snow melt and ancillary systems.

Minimum Requirements:

Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school specializing in HVAC and one to two years of related experience/training.  Previous experience in all aspects of HVAC and building maintenance required, as well as prior knowledge of plumbing, pipe-fitting, refrigeration, and steam technology. Previous experience with digital sling, fire equipment, saws, torches, electric meters, air monitors, circuit tracers, manual and hydraulic lifts, and assorted hand tools. Self-starter. Must possess strong team orientation and substantial leadership skills. Computer literate. Previous experience with Siemens or similar building automation system extremely desirable. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. or more. Available to work weekends, holidays and overtime as required. 

Hours of work: 40 hours/week

Hour rate: $ 23.00-$28.00
