• Conduct a thorough examination and evaluation of patients, utilizing various assessment tools to determine their functional limitations and underlying conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that target the specific needs of each patient, incorporating evidence-based practices and innovative therapy techniques.
• Provide ongoing education and consultations regarding patient care and recovery strategies to healthcare providers and family members.
• Record patient treatments accurately and maintain documentation that meets state and federal regulations, as well as organizational standards.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to enhance patient access to services and promote healthy living within the Avenel community.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants, aides, and students, ensuring a collaborative approach to patient care.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities, including staff meetings, trainings, and interdisciplinary team collaborations.
• Maintain familiarity with the latest research in physical therapy, and implement new methodologies to improve patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, predominantly consisting of individuals experiencing orthopedic challenges, post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. Our commitment is to provide personalized treatment not only based on clinical observations but also informed by the unique goals and expectations each patient brings to their rehabilitation journey.

Successful applicants must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a current state license in Physical Therapy. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with experience in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and progress tracking. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.

We prefer candidates who have experience in an orthopedic setting, as well as holding specialized certifications in therapeutic modalities or advanced physical therapy techniques. Previous involvement in community outreach or proactive marketing initiatives within healthcare is a plus.
