POSITION PROFILE:

We're looking for an organized Line Cook with a passion for cooking. As a key member of our kitchen staff, our Line Cook will prep, cook, plate, and clean their stations to provide delicious meals for our guests.

THE TASK AT HAND:

  • Setting up your station and successfully tackling your daily prep list.
  • Receiving goods from our vendors and ensuring all products meet our high standards.
  • Assisting kitchen stations and delivering beautifully prepped items to the line when needed.
  • Maintaining a tidy, organized, and sanitized workspace, including all culinary and food storage areas.
  • Practicing exceptional cooking techniques.
  • Preparing the kitchen for top-notch service by following prep lists, organizing ingredients, and adhering to portion guidelines.
  • Collaborating with team members to complete service in a positive, respectful environment.
  • Maintaining a positive attitude and matching the pace of a demanding kitchen during service rushes.
  • Keeping an open and receptive mind when it comes to learning new skills and embracing new recipes.
  • Working in a safe and sanitary manner at all times to ensure the health and physical protection of your fellow staff and diners.
  • Completing opening and closing tasks as well as extra cleaning projects as needed.
  • Lending a hand as required to help team members complete meal service in an efficient manner.

  • A clear communicator that's professional and concise whilst actively listening to others and giving consideration to their needs and feedback.
  • Must be able to stand or walk a minimum of eight-hour shift.
  • Requires mobility and prolonged standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a line cook in a high-quality full service or fast casual environment.
  • The ability to safely work throughout a shift. Tasks may include walking, standing, bending, and lifting supplies up to 40lbs.
  • Schedule flexibility. Shifts may vary.
  • Basic math and critical thinking skills for following prep work and recipe needs.
  • Individuals comfortable in various environments, from casual morning shifts to fast-paced dinner hours.
