Job Summary: Financial Management Analyst L2 (TS/SCI) - DoD Cyber Group Location: Onsite at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX Clearance: Active TS/SCI Required Type: 6 Month Contract-to-Hire | W2 Schedule: Monday-Friday, Standard 40-hour Weeks About the Role Join an elite team supporting the Air Force Cyber Group in a high-impact Financial Management Analyst L2 role. As a crucial liaison between the Air Force and US Cyber Command, you will drive implementation of a new funding process, manage enhanced budget controls, and support mission-critical cyber operations. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced DoD finance professionals seeking to shape the future of Defense financial management and grow their career in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. Responsibilities - Serve as the central point for budget planning, execution, and analysis between Air Force and US Cyber Command funding streams - Implement new funding processes and develop strategic annual spend plans - Oversee civilian pay management, travel oversight, open document reviews, and accounting adjustments - Conduct in-depth financial analysis: cost-benefit, business case, expenditure tracking, reconciliation, and impact studies - Develop and maintain accounting structures, financial models, and reporting tools - Monitor and report on expenditures, obligations, variances, and identify funding trends - Support budget formulation, execution, and closeout procedures including reconciliations and documentation - Lead research efforts to improve financial policy, process efficiency, and support deployment of the Defense Agency Initiative (DAI) to subordinate units - Collaborate cross-functionally with program managers and senior leadership to drive financial strategy Required Skills and Experience - Minimum 5+ years of DoD financial management experience (Army, Air Force, Navy, etc.) - Proficient with DEAMS and/or GFEBS accounting systems - Active TS/SCI clearance (no exceptions) - DoD Financial Management Certification Level I or II or CDFM - Strong data analysis skills in complex, multi-system environments - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent DoD experience) - Detail-oriented multitasker with a deep understanding of the PPBE process Preferred Skills - Experience with Defense Agency Initiative (DAI) implementation - Advanced data modeling and "what if" analysis skills - Demonstrated success in financial process improvement within DoD or cyber operations Benefits - 6-month contract-to-hire with long-term growth potential - Work onsite at a premier DoD facility alongside top cyber and finance professionals - Impactful role influencing Defense financial strategy and cyber mission success - Competitive compensation and the opportunity to gain additional DoD certifications How to Apply Qualified candidates with the required TS/SCI clearance and DoD experience should submit their resume.
