Job description

Essential Functions
  • Placing sealed individual units in packaging and ensuring proper package sealing.
  • Repackaging improperly sealed, or coded, product.
  • Disposing of scrap product and raw materials.
  • Keeping work area clean.
  • Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local, and Ziegenfelder environmental, health, and safety directives, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Prior experience in food service or production preferred

Physical Requirements
  • Stand for up to 8 hours per shift
  • Regularly move and lift items up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform continuous bending, twisting, reaching, and grasping motions
  • Work safely around manufacturing equipment with good spatial awareness

Working Conditions
  • Exposure to noise levels above 85 decibels (hearing protection provided)

Compensation & Benefits
  • Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week with consecutive set days off
  • Benefits: Begin on the first day after 60 days of employment
