Salary Range: $62,400.00 - $62,400.00

Position Summary

The IT Associate is a full-time position. They work in conjunction with the IT Administrator in seeing to the technical needs of PCS employees while acting as the primary point of contact for desktop support requests. This includes the troubleshooting and maintenance of computers and peripherals, documenting systems infrastructure and processes, maintaining inventory of current hardware and software, aiding in the administration of internal networks, staying aware of and evaluating market changes regarding technological systems and run-on sentences.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance to PCS employees’ and guests’ technological issues with a specific focus on desktop support, networking problems, and the dreaded printers.
  • Help with basic issues involving Tessitura (PCS’s CRM)
  • Maintain the inventory of all hardware/software assets, as well as maintenance records and renewals.
  • Maintenance and repair of all (most) company software, hardware, and other flotsam in a primarily Windows environment. Limited macOS support required.
  • Serve as a point of contact with vendors and clients to help evaluate our business needs and future growth.
  • Research, evaluate, and order IT-related technologies for new or on-going projects.
  • Assist the IT Administrator in the management of The Armory’s network through maintaining server infrastructure and the like.
  • After a period of training, the IT Associate may cover on-call duties in collaboration/rotation with the IT Administrator.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent certifications/experience
  • Desktop Support experience or equivalent training preferred but not required.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Understanding of or interest in theatre or other performing arts.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Outstanding customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Focused but flexible, with a strong attention to detail detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to sometimes work on multiple projects simultaneously with limited supervision.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Extensive experience with Windows 11, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Windows Server applications like Active Directory, and general enterprise networking.
  • Experience with macOS, iOS, and Android devices.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and tickets based on need and severity.
  • Strong commitment to upholding PCS’s organizational values and IDEA principles.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with co-workers.
  • Sensitivity with confidential information.
