American Rheinmetall continues to expand its U.S. defense manufacturing operations, supporting next-generation military vehicle programs and armored vehicle development.

This role plays a critical part in building and modifying armored vehicle platforms that support U.S. military modernization efforts. You'll work hands-on assembling vehicle structures, components, and systems that ultimately support some of the most advanced defense programs in the world.

The Work You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Assemble armored vehicle body structures and vehicle components
  • Install OEM, fabricated, and armored components into vehicle body-in-white (BIW) assemblies
  • Use cranes, lifting fixtures, and material handling equipment to position and install heavy components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, engineering drawings, and assembly documentation
  • Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, rivet systems, and specialized fixtures
  • Work with adhesives, coatings, and assembly materials throughout the build process
  • Support fabrication and fitment of large steel components
  • Carefully disassemble and reassemble vehicle components including fenders, hoods, and interior systems
  • Maintain accurate documentation within ERP/MRP systems
  • Collaborate with assembly, materials, engineering, and production teams
  • Troubleshoot assembly and fitment issues while maintaining quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
