Job description

Location: Santa Ana, California — On-site, 5 days/week
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $110,000 - $120,000

About eJam

eJam is a bootstrapped consumer products company that has built, scaled, and exited multiple brands — all without ever taking a dollar of outside capital. Our portfolio includes category leaders ranked at the top of Amazon, carried in major retailers nationwide, and sold across DTC, marketplaces, and every channel in between.

We're not a startup hoping something works. We're a team that has done it repeatedly — taken products from zero to eight figures, landed them on retail shelves nationwide, and built real brands that consumers love. We operate like a holding company with the speed of a startup: small team, no bureaucracy, massive ownership.

This is the place where you'll see the entire machine — sourcing, product development, packaging, manufacturing, compliance, marketing, marketplace strategy, retail — all under one roof. If you want to learn how consumer products actually get built and shipped at scale, there is no faster education than this.

The Role

eJam is hiring a Media Buyer to take hands-on ownership of Meta advertising for our better-for-you candy brand. This is a senior, on-site role for someone who lives inside Ads Manager daily — building, launching, and optimizing campaigns, reading performance signals, and acting on them fast. You'll work closely with Creative and CRO to keep campaigns performing, and with leadership to make sure spend is driving real revenue and profit, not just impressions.

While Meta is the primary focus of this role, familiarity with other paid channels (Google, TikTok) is a strong plus and may expand over time. This role is an individual contributor position today, with the potential to grow into team leadership as the function scales.

What You'll Own

  • Meta Campaign Management: Build, launch, and manage Meta advertising campaigns for our better-for-you candy brand, owning performance from creative testing through scaling.
  • Budget & Spend Allocation: Manage daily and monthly ad spend, reallocating budget across campaigns and audiences to hit CPA/ROAS targets.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor key metrics (CTR, CPA, ROAS, CPM) daily, diagnosing underperformance and acting on it quickly.
  • A/B Testing: Run structured tests on creative, copy, audiences, and placements, and turn results into repeatable playbooks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Creative and CRO teams to brief new assets and improve full-funnel conversion.
  • Reporting: Maintain clear, accurate reporting on spend, performance, and key learnings for leadership review.

Requirements

You're a Fit If You Have

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Meta (Facebook & Instagram) advertising campaigns, ideally in eCommerce or DTC.
  • Proven experience managing meaningful monthly ad spend with clear accountability for CPA/ROAS targets.
  • Deep fluency in Meta Ads Manager — campaign structure, bidding strategies, audience building, and placement optimization.
  • A strong analytical foundation: you read performance data daily and translate it into clear next actions.
  • Experience briefing and collaborating with creative teams to keep ad content fresh and high-performing.
  • Comfort working on-site, in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where priorities can shift quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to report on performance clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bonus: experience with Google Ads or TikTok Ads, or with food, beverage, or CPG brands.

This Role Is NOT For You If

This role is not a fit if you're looking for a fully remote position, prefer to work strategy at arm's length without being hands-on in the platform day-to-day, need heavy oversight to manage your own campaign workload, or are uncomfortable with ad performance shifting quickly and needing fast course-correction. This also isn't the right fit if you're primarily a strategist or generalist marketer without deep, current hands-on Meta Ads Manager experience.

Benefits

  • Health, Dental, & Vision
  • 401k Plan
  • Competitive PTO Plan
  • Observed Holiday's
  • Amazing, Pet-Friendly Office Environment
  • Office Drinks & Snacks
  • Free Friday Lunches from Doordash
