Waterscapes Pools & Spas, a Neal Communities company and 2025 Top Workplace, is looking for an experienced Pool Designer & Sales professional who's ready to work at a different level. This isn't a cold-call sales role — you will walk in with a built-in pipeline of new construction buyers already invested in their dream home. You'll design custom pools, spas, and outdoor living spaces and guide clients through the full experience from concept to contract. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Design & Sales

  • Meet with clients to understand their vision, lifestyle, and budget, then design custom pools, spas, and outdoor kitchens using Pool Studio or comparable design software
  • Conduct compelling sales presentations, prepare purchase agreements and construction contracts, and assist with financing options as needed
  • Qualify leads, manage your pipeline in CRM, and consistently meet and exceed sales targets

Relationship Building

  • Build and maintain relationships with Neal Communities Construction Managers, the homebuilding community, and local realtors
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective clients from first inquiry through signed contract, delivering a high-touch experience throughout

Collaboration & Operations

  • Partner with Marketing on lead generation strategy and visual sales materials
  • Coordinate with permitting and purchasing departments to move projects forward efficiently

    WHAT YOU BRING:

    • Required: Demonstrated experience in pool and/or outdoor kitchen design and sales — this is the foundation everything else is built on
    • Proficiency with pool design software (Structure Studios/Pool Studio strongly preferred)
    • Excellent consultative sales skills: you know how to listen, present, handle objections, and close
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across client, trade, and internal audiences
    • Proficiency with MS Office; experience with CRM systems a plus
    • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
    • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • General sedentary work requiring the use of office equipment such as computers, copiers, printers, scanners, and telephones
    • Position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, grasping, writing, typing, repetitive motions, hearing ability, visual acuity, and climbing stairs on occasion
    • May occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
    • The employee regularly travels (as a vehicle driver and passenger on various modes of transportation) and occasionally performs work on-site at construction worksites
