Job description

ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas. We currently have an opening for a Full-Time Medical Assistant Combo. Experience in Family Practice preferred.
We are currently looking to hire a Medical Assistant Combo in the city of Long Beach, CA. Experience in Internal Medicine preferred.
Job Type: Part-Time, Direct Hire
Pay: $23-25 per hour
Hours: Mon-Fri, Schedule varies per week
Front Office
  • Greets and welcomes patients and visitors, both in person and over the phone, addressing or directing inquiries as appropriate.
  • Enhances patient satisfaction and maximizes provider efficiency by scheduling appointments effectively and managing exam room flow.
  • Ensures appointments run on time by verifying insurance eligibility and benefits in advance and preparing required documentation.
  • Maintains strict patient confidentiality while promoting a safe and secure environment.

Back Office
  • Prepare patients for examination by rooming them and obtaining vital signs.
  • Administer injections and perform phlebotomy, as needed.
  • Review and update patient medical histories accurately.
  • Support providers during patient care and clinical procedures.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bilingual Spanish, required
  • At least 1 year experience in front and back office, required
  • MA Certified
  • CPR Certified
