Job description

Newport Children's Medical Group provides expert, compassionate pediatric care for children of all ages, from newborns to adolescents, at its locations in Newport Beach, Irvine, Costa Mesa, and Laguna Beach.

We are currently looking to hire a Front Office Assistant in the city of Newport Beach, CA. Experience in Pediatrics preferred.

Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Pay: $23-24 per hour

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8-hour shifts

Front Office

  • Greets and welcomes patients and visitors, both in person and over the phone, addressing or directing inquiries as appropriate.
  • Enhances patient satisfaction and maximizes provider efficiency by scheduling appointments effectively and managing exam room flow.
  • Ensures appointments run on time by verifying insurance eligibility and obtaining prior authorizations in advance and preparing required documentation.
  • Maintains strict patient confidentiality while promoting a safe and secure environment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 2 years' experience in front office, required
  • Experience in Pediatrics, preferred
  • Experience with prior authorizations and verifying eligibility
  • MA Certified
  • CPR Certified

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 hours/week
