Job description

Activities

  • Loading and unloading materials from inbound and outbound trucks and containers, manually or using equipment.
  • Shipping process: palletizing, wrapping, and strapping products for shipment.
  • Receiving process: order picking for restocking, customer orders, and packaging components.
  • Maintaining storage accuracy.
  • Performing inventory maintenance tasks.
  • Carrying out other distribution-related duties as needed, according to volume and operational demand.
  • Performing all other warehouse activities deemed necessary during daily operations.
  • Conducting daily forklift inspections / Controlling supplies needed for the warehouse.
  • Organizing storage space efficiently, always maintaining cleanliness and organization.
  • Supporting the purchasing, planning, and quality departments when necessary.
  • Assisting with or performing other tasks that may arise during coworkers’ vacations or absences (documentation, etc.).
  • Handling necessary communications with customers, suppliers, carriers, freight forwarders, or for sending/receiving documents related to warehousing.
  • Attaching mandatory shipping documents (Packing List, Invoice, BOL) to shipments.
  • Preparing related documents, printing, collecting drivers’ signatures, and filing them for inbound and outbound processes (e.g., BOL with load details).
  • Sending necessary documents (e.g., BOL signed by Argos and the driver) and confirmations to customers (e.g., if the invoice was picked up by the carrier), carriers, and freight forwarders.
Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 36 kg (80 lbs), as many warehouse items are large and heavy.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office is desirable.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of physical activity for long periods and work mostly standing.
  • Preferred previous experience with steel bundles, forklift (15,500-lb capacity), and Combilift.
  • Background check (FTZ).
Additional Information

  • Full-time position, approximately 20 hours per week.
  • Regular schedule: Monday to Friday, morning or afternoon shift.
  • Pay: US$ 20/hour.
