Operations Manager – Home Performance Company

Tampa Bay's premier certified home performance company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to help lead our growing team. We specialize in attic insulation removal and replacement, blown insulation, spray foam, air sealing, crawlspace encapsulation, and Duke Energy rebate-eligible upgrades across the greater Tampa Bay area. Under our E³ standard — Energy, Efficiency, Excellence — we're known as the "Home of the Attic Makeover."
What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily field operations, coordinating a team of installers and crew leads across multiple simultaneous job sites
  • Manage scheduling, routing, and logistics to keep crews efficient and on time
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to BPI, Duke Energy, and Florida building science standards
  • Support crew training, certification tracking, and safety compliance
  • Partner with sales and office teams to keep jobs moving smoothly from estimate to completion
  • Manage material inventory, equipment, and fleet coordination
  • Help develop and refine SOPs, checklists, and field documentation
  • Step in on physically demanding tasks as needed, supporting a hands-on, "get it done" culture
What We're Looking For

  • Experience in construction, insulation, HVAC, home performance, or a related trades field
  • Strong leadership and communication skills — someone who can manage people and hold a high bar
  • Familiarity with building science concepts (R-values, air sealing, moisture control) is a big plus
  • Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and other tight or hot environments
  • BPI certification or willingness to obtain one
