We are seeking a results-driven Area Manager to oversee operations, and team performance throughout the Central Texas market. This leadership role is responsible for managing multiple service lines including Pest Control, Mosquito Control, Wildlife Exclusion, and Lawn Fertilization & Weed Control. The Area Manager will lead branch operations by developing employees, ensuring exceptional customer service, driving revenue growth, maintaining operational excellence, and achieving key performance goals.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader with experience managing service teams in a fast-paced environment and a passion for coaching employees while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop technicians, sales professionals, and supervisors.
  • Coach Service Managers & Technicians through regular field observations, ride-alongs, and performance reviews.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Build employee engagement and maintain high retention through effective leadership.
Operations Management
  • Oversee daily operations across multiple service lines.
  • Ensure service quality meets company standards and customer expectations.
  • Monitor scheduling, routing, staffing levels, and productivity.
  • Maintain compliance with all state regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies.
  • Ensure equipment, vehicles, and facilities are maintained properly.
Customer Experience
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Ensure exceptional service delivery across all departments.
  • Promote long-term customer relationships through consistent service excellence.
  • Minimize customer attrition and reservice
Financial Management
  • Manage labor costs, materials, fleet expenses, and operating budgets.
  • Analyze financial reports and implement action plans to improve profitability.
  • Monitor inventory and purchasing to control costs.
Safety & Compliance
  • Promote a strong safety culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain required licenses and certifications for applicable services.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of management experience in pest control and lawn care.
  • Multi-location or multi-department management experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate high-performing teams.
  • Experience managing budgets, KPIs, and operational performance.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM and field service management software.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Texas Structural Pest Control License (or ability to obtain).
  • Experience in:
    • Residential and Commercial Pest Control
    • Mosquito Control
    • Wildlife Exclusion
    • Lawn Fertilization & Weed Control
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel throughout the Central Texas territory.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to inspect job sites, perform ride-alongs, and visit customer locations.
