As a Maintenance Operations Lead, your job duties will include, but may not be limited to:
  • Performance of advanced preventive maintenance on process/production equipment as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Respond to and provide service and feedback to the customer on all work orders while assuring compliance to codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Safely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tag out procedures and wearing PPE as required.
  • Prepare/complete assigned tasks in conformance with applicable procedure requirements provided by the supervisor.
  • Perform advanced repairative maintenance on production equipment.
  • Work independently, without supervision.
  • Train other technicians.
  • Communicate with cross-functional leaders.
  • Assign work orders to contributing team members.
  • Schedule and manage special work orders/projects.
  • Point of contact for all production downtime issues that arise.

This is a unique role that will require work hours that vary from a typical schedule. There will be times when the successful candidate will be required to support activities and installations during weekends, holidays, and plant shutdowns.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 35 pounds for intervals of 15-30 minutes.
  • Work at heights of up to 30 feet from the floor, work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures, and walk, squat and bend over for intervals of 15-30 minutes, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Skills Requirements:
  • 5 years minimum of cumulative experience performing industrial maintenance, corrective, preventive, and testing in a manufacturing facility.

Desired Skills Requirements:
  • Prior leadership experience.
  • Relevant industry certification.
  • Prior experience within a Caterpillar Facility.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and equipment diagrams.
  • Safe and effective use of common maintenance tools (carpentry, plumbing, assembly, etc.).
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot, repair, and installation of manufacturing machine components.
  • Experience utilizing CMMS.
  • Experience maintaining and troubleshooting PLCs.
  • Extensive knowledge troubleshooting and repairing hoists/cranes.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, server motors, pneumatics and hydraulics.

1st Shift - M-F 6:15 AM - 2:15 PM
2nd Shift - M-F 2:15 PM - 10:15 PM
3rd Shift - S-F 10:15 PM - 6:15 AM
Weekend Crew - F-S 3x12/hour shifts 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
**Role requires overtime as needed to support business needs**
Starting pay rates:
1st Shift - $29.77/hour
2nd & 3rd Shifts - $32.15/hour (includes 8% shift premium)

Summary Pay Range:
$29.77 - $44.65
